01

The problem

A medical practice needs to answer appointment requests and record messages while the team is occupied with patients. These calls often involve routine scheduling actions that can be connected to an automated workflow.

02

Context & role

I built and shipped this receptionist agent as a freelance client project. It is currently used by a real medical practice. The practice is not identified publicly.

03

The solution

A caller speaks with the voice agent. The conversation triggers an n8n workflow that carries out an appointment action or records a message for the doctor.

The delivered scope includes booking appointments, rescheduling them, cancelling them, and recording the caller’s messages or notes for the doctor.

04

Technical decisions

ElevenLabs powers the voice conversation, while n8n connects the conversation to scheduling actions and message handling.

The workflow is presented as: phone call → voice conversation → n8n workflow → appointment action or message for the doctor.

05

Evidence

This is a live client deployment. There is no public repository or demonstration link.

The workflow visual is illustrative. Any example conversation or appointment shown is fictional and contains no patient information.

06

Limitations

The agent handles reception and administrative tasks. Medical diagnosis, treatment, and clinical advice are outside its scope.

Operational metrics are not publicly available. Client implementation details and real conversations remain private.
